Best Champions to solo Dragon (2024)

These are some of the best champions to solo the Dragon’s Lair, if you have these champions then you can make them solo dragon and it allows you to bring food champions to get some EXP whilst in the dragon dungeon. There are some Epics on the list and a freebie Legendary champion that you should all have so lets get cracking on the best champions to solo Dragon! Most of these champions need good Regen gear to do this as the healing is pretty handy to keep them topped up on the HP.

Best Champions to solo Dragon (1)

Bad el Kazar

Bad El Kazar is a great Legendary who may have been power crept in the last year as he was the top Legendary to get at one point but now there are many better ones. But nonetheless, he is still a great champion who can solo Dragon all the way up to Dragon 25.

Make sure you build enough Accuracy to get the job done plus you may want some resistance. It may get a bit ropey at stage 25 because he is the same affinity so it may seem like he is going to die but his continuous heals manage to keep him alive. Build him with more HP because he will be very grateful for it!

The difference between him and some epics is Blessings because if you can get Brimstone on your Bad el then you’ll significantly speed up your run time.

Best Champions to solo Dragon (3)

Tomb Lord

Tomb Lord is a great Legendary champion who got buffed inPatch 4.70, and this was a well-needed buff as he was Vault Lord now he has reclaimed his name and is one of the better champions to Solo Dragon! He can solo Dragon up to Dragon 25 built-in Regen gear.

Tomb Lord is positive affinity he has little risk of dying. Turning his a3 off can make you quicker in the waves but also makes you more vulnerable. So maybe try with and without to see if you can cope and to see if it changes your speeds. Again Brimstone will drastically help your run time if you have the blessing. he is very efficient and is great for Soloing Dragon 25!

Best Champions to solo Dragon (5)

Myciliac Preiest Orn

Myciliac Priest Orn is a great champion to solo Dragon 25. He is Positive affinity for Dragon 25 so the waves wouldn’t be that bad of a problem, they will likely weak hit and allow you to keep your HP high and there will be little risk. You may want to go into the team setup and turn on the a2 in the boss stage because his auto ai won’t use it and it’ll speed up your run by exploding the poisons and dealing some nice damage to the Dragon.

His passive is nice as well “Whenever a [Poison] debuff is activated on an enemy, increases this Champion’s HP and DEF by 5%. Stacks up to 25%. Resets each round.” This is big for Dragon because he activates it and you get bonus DEF and HP to keep alive and be under less risk!

Best Champions to solo Dragon (7)

Urogrim

Urogrim when released was on the best and he was overturned but Raid quickly bought down his power which brought some controversy but that is in the past and Urogrim is still a great champion who can solo Dragon 25.

You need his a2 to get the heal so he can stay alive during the waves and it may feel a bit more risky than some of the other champions but he can still get through it with the right HP and gear levels. It may be a scary watch and not 100% but just throw more HP into your builds and you should be in a much more comfortable state.

He can kill the dragon quicker than others because his a1 produces a lot of poisons and it stacks up and chunks the Dragons HP bar very quickly. It is just the waves that are a bit of a struggle and will cost you the most time but he is still one of the best solo Dragon Champions.

Best Champions to solo Dragon (9)

Artak

Artak is a Freebie that all players have right now and he is game-changing plus he is a great champion to solo Dragon. Make sure you turn the a3 on so he uses it first otherwise he doesn’t do it and you’ll need it to get through!

You’ll need toxic gear to get through the scorch ability but it is worth it. He can farm Stage 20 quite comfortably but as previously said he needs toxic gear and some good speed. He can do stage 24 but would need very good stats! Therefore he isn’t as reliable as the rest on this list so far!

Best Champions to solo Dragon (11)

Gnishak Verminlord

Gnishak Verminlord is a great champion who deals a lot of damage and may have gone under the radar a little bit because he is top-tier for soloing Dragon 25 and he does it very quickly!

His Passive is what makes him so good! “Every time a [Bomb] debuff placed by this champion detonates or is removed, places two 5% [Poison] debuffs for 2 turns. These debuffs are protected.” This makes him so good and allows you to get some great times in. He needs the Regen gear to keep him alive but he nukes through the waves and clears the boss very quickly!

He is one of the most efficient champions for soloing Dragon!

Best Champions to solo Dragon (13)

Teodor the Savant

Teodor is a great Legendary champion that can solo Dragon 25 very quickly and efficiently, he can place poisons and poison sensitivity which is great for dealing a load of damage and on top of that he can extend his own poisons so they last for longer and your damage output is increased meaning you take down the dragon fairly fast!

He needs the Regen gear and to be running at a fairly good speed to really get the build going but overall he is a great champion that can smash the Dragon Lair!

Also he is Legendary so if you get a blessing on him don’t forget to add Brimstone to increase the speed of your runs!

Best Champions to solo Dragon (15)

Richtoff the Bold

Richtoff the Bold can solo Dragon 20 but he is quite squishy so make sure you have some HP on him. He doesn’t have any self-healing like others on the list but he is good at Poisoning enemies and the Dragon to get it down quickly. He is a glass cannon as he deals a lot of damage and your speeds will be fast however he falls very easily.

Richtoff the Bold isn’t as efficient as others on the list but it can be done!

Best Champions to solo Dragon (17)

Akemtum

Akemtum is a good epic for soloing Dragon 25. He has to be in Lifesteal set for it to work and this is important! How he does it is his Passive is “Has an 80% chance of inflicting damage from one [Poison] debuff to enemies under a [Hex] debuff whenever their allies receive damage from [Poison] Debuffs.”

Try to get a nice amount of speed and HP Saph reached 231 speed and 50k HP in his video and if you want to check it out click here. You also want high resistance to block that stun from scorch!

Best Champions to solo Dragon (19)

Torturehelm

Torturehelm may be a random one for the list but here he is! You need to run him in toxic set to get the best outcomes. Now your thinking why Torturehelm isn’t he just a food epic? But no he is good at soloing Drag 20!

The reason he is good at soloing Drag 20 is because his passive is a Self Revive on a 3 turn Cooldown so you need to make sure you have the right speeds for him at least 215 then his a2 is “Attacks 1 enemy. Damage is proportional to this champion’s MAX HP and increases according to the number of dead allies.” So with 4 food champions, it means he stacks his damage up. You need to cycle around his a2 as this kills the waves a lot faster!

Who knew Torturehelm had some use?!
