Supplies Needed

- Sugar: Two cups of sugar is what you will need for this recipe. Any type of granulated sugar will work, but I like to stick with cane sugar.
- Cucumber: ¾ cup chopped cucumber with the seeds removed
- Coconut Oil: ¼ cup coconut oil (melted)
- Peppermint Oil: 8 – 10 drops peppermint oil (see this post on how to buy single oils for cheaper)
Note: You can find most of these items online or at your local grocery store or market. Be sure to put the rest of the cucumber to good use!
How to Make Your Own Cucumber Scrub at Home
Step 1
First, add the chopped cucumber to a food processor. Next, add in the remaining ingredients. Process until smooth and the cucumber is completely processed into smaller pieces. Add the cucumber to a jar for use or gift-giving.

This scrub sounds fantastic can’t wait to try it. I am assuming with the fresh cumcumber addded that it wouldn’t have a long shelf life, how do you suggest preserving it?

It does not have any preservatives so it won’t keep long. Store in the refrigerator.
