ASHEBORO N.C. – Five recent search warrants over the last month and a half have led to multiple people being arrested on various drug charges and warrants.
Three of the search warrants were conducted by the Asheboro Police Departments’ VICE & Narcotics team with the help of the department’s Special Enforcement Team and one warrant was conducted by the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, and another by both the Randolph & Chatham County Sheriff’s Office.
On February 9th 2022, The Asheboro Police Department VICE/Narcotics Unit and Special Enforcement Team executed a search warrant at a home on Oakmont Dr as well as on Anna Michelle Hughes. A police report says that when executing the warrant officers detained multiple individuals. Police say they seized approximately 3 grams of methamphetamine and 2.5 grams of marijuana. Dennis Holliday, Crissie Slycord Honeycutt, and Sarah Elizabeth Adams were all arrested due to having active warrants for arrest. An official with the Asheboro Police Department said the investigation is still active and they were unable to provide any additional information at this time.
On Feb 23rd 2022, Asheboro Police executed a search warrant on a home on Greentree Ct. Police say they located approximately 18.2 grams of Fentanyl, 2.5 grams of marijuana, multiple scales and multiple drug paraphernalia items. James Irvin Walden was charged with Felony Trafficking Opium/Heroin (x2), Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell and Deliver Schedule I Controlled Substance, Felony Maintaining a Dwelling for Controlled Substance, Simple Possession of Schedule VI Controlled Substance, Possess Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia. Walden was issued a $100,000.00 secured bond, and had a first appearance on February 24th 2022, Court record show Walden has an upcoming court on March 15th 2022 in Randolph County District Court.
On March 2, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Division concluded an investigation in the Asheboro area. Detectives, along with the Sheriff’s Office Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a search warrant on Oakland Ave. in Asheboro. A press release form the Sheriff’s office identified the home as the residence of Timothy Derrick Fore and say they located and seized Methamphetamine, Hydrocodone, several firearms and items of drug paraphernalia. Fore was charged with

- Felony Maintain Vehicle/Dwelling/Place for Controlled Substance
- Misdemeanor Possession Marijuana Up to ½ oz.
- Misdemeanor Simple Possession Schedule II
- Misdemeanor Possession Marijuana Paraphernalia
- Misdemeanor Possession Drug Paraphernalia.
He was transported to Randolph County Jail and given a $5,000 Secured Bond. He had a first appearance on March 7th, 2022, in Randolph County District Court. According to court records Fore currently has 3 separate upcoming court dates for 12 Felony drug charges, and 16 Misdemeanor drug charges from two different law enforcement agencies.
On March 15, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Division concluded an investigation related to the distribution of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine in Randolph County which led to Detectives executing a search warrant at the residence of Donald Robert Lynch located on Spencer Rd. in Archdale. During the search, Detectives say they located Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, bath salts and steroids as well as six firearms along with drug paraphernalia. After the search of the residence in Archdale, the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office assisted in executing a search warrant at a business in Chatham County being operated by Lynch in Bennett. Police say that search also located Fentanyl. In total police say they seized approximately 783.9 grams (1.7 lbs.) of Fentanyl and 367 grams of Methamphetamine. Lynch was charged by both the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office as well as the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office.

Bond – $165,000 Secured + Electronic House Arrest
On Friday, March 25 2022; The Asheboro Police Department VICE/Narcotics Unit and Special Enforcement Team executed a search warrant at a home on Hammer Ave. Police charged Tyron Edward Tinnin with Felony Possession of Cocaine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was transported to Randolph County Jail where he was given a court date of Monday, March 28, 2022 and a secured bond of $5,000.
