Sands of Inaros Quest Guide 2024 | Warframe School (2024)

If you are looking for the Sands of Inaros Warframe guide you came to the right place!

This optional Warframe quest was introduced to the game back in 2016 and the reward if you complete it is the Inaros Warframe.

You need to buy the quest blueprint from the Void Trader, also known as Baro Ki’Teer, who you’ll find in the Concourse area of the Tenno Relays.

You need to pay him in Ducats which you get for selling weapon parts, crafted Warframe components or Prime blueprints at one of the Relays’ Ducat Kiosks.

However, Baro Ki’Teer only appears for 2 days every 2 weeks.

Check the countdown timer on the Void Trader Kiosks to see when he will arrive or, if he’s there, how much longer he’s staying.

How To Get the Sands of Inaros Blueprint

The Sands of Inaros blueprint costs 50,000 Credits and 200 Ducats. You also have to have mastery rank 5.

You will go to the Foundry which is under the Keys section and you will need the following resources to make the blueprint:

  • 5,000 Nano spores
  • 5,000 Credits
  • 1 Nitain Extract
  • 400 Oxium

It takes six hours to manufacture the blueprint and you can then unlock the quest from the codex.

Sands of Inaros Vessel’s Challenge Walkthrough

Now let’s take a look at the Vessel’s challenge step-by-step walkthrough.

Part 1

Baro Ki’Teer wants a valuable relic that’s been left behind in a hidden tomb on Phobos, a forsaken rock. This level 20 to 25 mission will take place at a Desert Tomb at Phobos, Opik.

You first arrive at the temple where Baro Ki’Teer tells you to take no notice of the glyphs.

Where the big statue is located, a voice tells you to shake out most of the sand while she tells you a story about the Orokin (Golden Skymen) who would abduct people until Inaros’ (The Skykiller) arrival.

Look for a big jar at the feet of a shrine in the end of the temple which is the sacred vessel. Baro wants you to bring it back for examination. This is the end of the first mini mission.

You get the Inaros blueprint as a reward. You need to equip the Vessel in your Gear inventory and fulfill the inscription, using different glyphs depending which of these 3 is the enemy type:

  • Seeker

  • Volatile Runner

  • Detron Crewman

Tenno will kill the enemy type and you will see sparks around him. The Vessel’s status bar shows how many more enemies are left to kill.

Once 60 have been killed, Baro will ask the Tenno to go back to the ship and examine the Vessel some more. The Vessel’s glyph will glow at this point.

When you’re back at the temple, go to the large statue. Baro will ask you to go to a door with the Vessel. Put the Vessel near the door and open it.

In the middle of the room is another Sacred Vessel. Take that one.

A story will be told about Inaros and then a pack of Feral Kavats will attack. Kill every Kavat. After that, Baro sends the Tenno back to the ship.

You get the protector helmet blueprint as the challenge reward.

Part 2

Baro asks you to complete a second challenge and go back to the tomb.

You must take the Sacred Vessel with you, equipping it in the Inventory, and then kill 20 of the following enemy depending on the glyph:

  • Hyekka Master

  • Brood Mother

  • Railgun MOA

Next Baro tells you to go back and return the Sacred Vessel. A voice asks ‘where is she?’ and you must find the door and put the Vessel there.

Open the door and pick up the third Vessel. The voice will tell the rest of the Inaros story and Baro tells you to prepare.

In the other room you will see a huge Tomb Guardian at the shrine. Kill him and he comes back as a smaller version of himself.

Repeat this 3 or 4 times until they are all killed. Baro will ask you to come back and your challenge reward is the Inaros Chassis Blueprint.

Part 3

Baro Ki’Teer asks you to do the third challenge, and this can be one of three possible enemies according to the glyph:

  • Juggernaut

  • Grineer Manic

  • Denial Bursa

Return to the Temple and put the Vessel near the door to open it. Pick up the final Vessel. Prove yourself against the Tomb Protector (a copy of the Inaros Warframe not shown on the map).

The Protector goes back to his sarcophagus and you have to fight one of the statues that has come to life in the room. Defeat the statue and the Tomb Protector rises to fight.

Kill all 4 statues to beat the Tomb Protector. The final fight is timed.

You have to defeat the Tomb Protector within 15 minutes. If you fail to do this, you will fail the whole mission.

Baro then says the female voice was his mother’s and he is the child’s voice in the story.

Once you have completed the quest you get the Protector Systems Blueprint which is the last component of the Inaros Warframe.

Tips for the Sands of Inaros Quest

  • It isn’t enough just to have the Sacred Vessel equipped in the inventory when killing enemies. You have to select the quest to be the active one.
  • You could purchase the Sands of Inaros Bundle from the market if you don’t want to get it from Baro Ki’Teer.
    • It’s 795 Platinum for the set from the market. If you bought each item individually it would cost 1,005 Platinum.
  • There isn’t a way to repeat the quest, so if you fail the quest or sell the Inaros Warframe, you’ll have to buy it again from the market.

What Does the Sands of Inaros Bundle Include?

You will get these items if you purchase the Sands of Inaros bundle:

  • Abrasys Syndana
  • Inaros
  • Inaros Anubis Helmet
  • 3 Day Affinity Booster
  • 3 Day Credit Booster
  • Lesion (Mastery 7)
  • Mutalist Cernos (Mastery 7)
  • Dual Toxocyst (Mastery 11)

You don’t need a mastery rank for any of these items or the Sands of Inaros quest if you are purchasing instead of doing the quest.

Best Healing Weapons to Use With Inaros

Inaros is a nice Warframe to use. It’s pretty strong but only has health with no shield at all. A shield regenerates after 3 seconds of damage but health doesn’t.

There are ways to increase health though, such as using Physique or similar mods.

Physique is an aura mod which can increase maximum health by a max of 90. This gives you plenty of healthy but it isn’t as good as regenerating it.

Hirudo and similar weapons will make the Inaros Warframe nearly invincible even when fighting high level enemies.

#1 Hema

Hema is mastery rank 7 primary weapon is a bloodsucker rifle which forgoes ammo to leach health, restoring health with every headshot.

This burst-firing weapon uses health in order to reload the magazine. It gets 10 of your Warframes’ health pool as healing in exchange for a headshot.

Hema’s critical change is 11 and the status is 25. You can research its blueprint in the Clan Dojo’s Bio Lab or buy it from the market for 225 Platinum.

#2 Hirudo

These Infested sparring weapons are capable of stealing health from your enemy on critical hits. Each successful hit returns 5 damage dealt to the enemy for the player’s health.

Every successful critical hit increases your max health by 5 with a maximum of 5 hits or 25 additional health.

You can buy the Hirudo blueprint from the market. It costs 15,000 credits but does need a Kogage as a building component.

You can get both Hema and Hirudo in the Nidus Bundle from the market for 660 Platinum.

#3 Broken Scepter

Although not directly healing this signature staff melee weapon is worth knowing about. The Broken Scepter has an ability which lets players ‘drain’ deceased enemies and get their health or energy orbs.

Stand over a dead enemy with the Scepter and you will be able to drain the body. Organic enemies generate health orbs and robotic ones (like MOAs) release energy orbs.

Broken Scepter comes with a status of 30 and critical charge of 10.

You can get this weapon by completing The War Within and the other necessary blueprints can be purchased for 100,000 standing from Cephalon Simaris.
