He was a beloved husband and great father. He was loved and cherished by his friends and extended family. He had a heart of Jefferie Frick Jefferie Dale Frick, 60, of Aquadale passed away, Sunday, August 30, 2015 in his home. A Celebration of Jeff's Life through prayer and memories will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday evening intl the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel.

Born February 1, 1955 in Hampton VA, he was the son of James Darrell Frick and the late Gladworth Morgan Frick. He was a retired electrician Maxine Clayton Margaret Maxine Miller Clayton, 91 years of age, of Richfield, passed away Monday, August 31,2015 at her home.

was born March 15, 1924 in Stanly County to the late Pearl Eugene Miller, Sr. and Mamie Verta Ritchie Miller. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Clamon Clayton; brother, P.E. Miller, and sisters, Evelyn Hill and Lucille Carter. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m.

on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m, on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Richfield Baptist Church, officiated by her grandson Rev. Rick Clayton. She will lie in state for 30 Rodger Slack Rodger Gene Slack, age. 81, passed away Monday, August 31, 2015 at his home in Albemarle, N.C: His memorial service will be 2 p.m.

Wednesday, September 2, 2015 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Harry Harwood officiating. There will be no formal visitation. Mr. Slack was born June 28, 1934 in Stanly County, N.C. to the late Oren "O.D." Daniel Slack and Lena Belle Frick Slack.

He attended North gold. Mr. Frick is survived by his wife Brenda Preslar Frick of the home. Others survivors include son, Father Andrew (Adam) Frick and wife Ksenia of Burke, Virigina, daughter Jordan Frick of Conway, SC, brother Steve Frick and family Greensboro, sister Kimberly Nelson and family of Milwaukee, WI, grandchildren Ian Frick and Anastasia Frick. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to Hospice of Stanly and the Uwharrie, 960 N.

First Street, Albemarle, NC 28001. Stanly Funeral Home is, serving the family. minutes prior to the service. The burial will follow at Richfield Cemetery. At other times, the family will be gathering at her home.

She is survived by her son, Dick (Hoopie) Clayton of Norwood; daughter, Jane (Oron) Huneycutt of Albemarle; five grandchildren, Rick (Donna) Clayton, Sam (Cindy) Clayton, Brandy (Brandon) Lowder, Ryan (Anissa) Huneycutt, Susan Arnold; and 12 great-grandchildren. Maxine a loving mother and grandmother. She always took care of everyone. Maxine had a green thumb, and enjoyed growing her flowers and doing yard work. Along with her husband, she was owner and operator of Clayton's Grocery Store in Richfield.

1st Street, Albemarle, N.C. 28001 Stanly Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Slack family. William Morton William Travis Morton, 67, of Norwood, passed away Saturday, August 29th, 2015 at Trinity Place, Albemarle, NC. His funeral service was at 10. a.m.

Tuesday, ber 1, 2015 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Julie Hill officiating. Burial was in Norview Gardens. The family received friends at Stanly Funeral Home on' Monday evening from 6- 8 p.m Mr. Morton was born on September 22, 1947 in Stanly County to the late Walter Travis Morton and Bernice Smith Bowers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandparents, 2 sisters Mickey Doby Mickey Doby, 70, of Albemarle passed away Saturday, 29, 2015 in Five Oaks Manor, Concord surrounded with love from his five kids and grandkids. His funeral service was at 7 p.m. Monday at the Prov-: idence Church of God in Locust with Pastor Jerry Ingle officiating. The family received friends from 5-7 p.m. at church.

Born January 28, 1945 Bobby Lee Hill Mr Bobby Lee Hill passed away August 29, 2015 at home. His funeral service will be Tuesday, September 1, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Wilkinson Funeral Home. The family received friends Monday 6-8 p.m. at the funerat home.

He is survived by his aunt and life-long care giver Lillie F. Morton of Trinity Place, sisters Shelby Jean Rouse of Asheboro, Linda Blake of Norwood, Pat Kearns of Seagrove, half-brother Brent Bowers of South Carolina, nieces, nephews and extended cousins who were very special to him. Bill was a very special individual who loved meeting and helping people. He never met a stranger. He especially enjoyed his time with his second family at Trinity Place where he met many new friends.

The family would like to thank Trinity Place for the special care Bill received over the past three years and especially during his recent illness. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County and the Uwharrie or Norwood a First Presbyterian Church or Trinity Place. Stanly Funeral Home is serving the family. in Stanly County, NC, he was the son of the late Dewey Doby and Ludie Blake Doby and was a retired employee of the NC DOT. He coached baseball for over 20 years and he loved riding his Harley.

He viewed all the kids he ever coached or supported as his fam- ily.
